Job Requirements

High school Diploma. Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales. Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS. Basic PC knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

Greet customers entering establishments. Resolve customer complaints. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
