You will own the Cloud infrastructure technical customer engagements providing subject matter expertise including: selecting and positioning of solutions, assessing overall cloud readiness, and architectural design.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of work experience of successful track record in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects), and minimum with 2 years of practical experience with cloud systems and services. You have subject matter expertise in a wide range of infrastructure related domains, with a track record of large production grade service deployment and IT operations. Ability to take technical and/or business requirements and translate them into detailed infrastructure solution designs. Possess an in-depth architectural understanding of Applications Architectures, licensing requirements, cloud Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) in various providers and are familiar with cloud native design patterns for Platform as a Service (PaaS). Previous experience developing, implementing, and operating large-scale IaaS, highly available environments through public cloud providers. Knowledge of current public cloud offerings from Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and Google. Understanding of a broad range of technologies provided as services and managed services within cloud environments. Knowledge of container solutions and their management (Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform). Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills

Job Responsibilities

You will own the Cloud infrastructure technical customer engagements providing subject matter expertise including: selecting and positioning of solutions, assessing overall cloud readiness, and architectural design. Perform POCs, draft RFP documentation, and review SOW’s to drive value added infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers to drive core Infrastructure solutions and Datacenter migrations. Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT. infrastructure technologies (e.g. Office365, Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking). Lead requirements gathering, analysis and solution development for infrastructure cloud-based solutions that scale and can be easily operationalized to realize the benefit of the cloud. Mentor and provide technical oversight and guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture. Demonstrate a balanced, vendor agnostic approach to addressing complex infrastructure concepts and gain consensus of peers through use of blueprints and trade-off analyses. Research and present new technology trends, influencing peers and leadership toward adoption, driving accountability of the achievement of roadmap milestones. Capture innovative ideas, consistently advancing the conceptual architecture, prototyping, and adoption process. Define and maintain logical and technical views of Reference Architectures
