We are currently in need of a Partsman to join our Al Futtaim Lexus team in Dubai. As part of our Parts team, you will be responsible to fulfil the needs of the customers who visit the workshop and Parts Sales Centre by understanding their requirements, identifying the parts required from the parts catalogue and performing the sales transactions in the computer system.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a good general level of Education and should have at least a minimum of 3 years’ experience within spare parts operations, preferably in an automotive parts sales counter. You should have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with customer. You should have excellent computer skills and knowledge of SAP is preferred. You should also be able to display excellent communication skills with an ability to demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and friendly attitude while being able to work in a team.
Advises the customers on replacement of related parts and benefits of using genuine parts. Ensures that the quotations, sales orders, sales returns, warranties and application of customer discounts are performed as per the standard operating procedure. Follows-up back-orders so that customers receive timely information on the status of back-ordered parts and ensures that such parts are delivered to the customer on the promised date. Inspects all received items on delivery to the warehouse to ensure that they meet quality standards and are in accordance with orders placed. Arranges transportation and packing material for parts to be dispatched to the branches to ensure they reach their destinations without damage. Ensures that warehouse systems and targets are achieved and that parts are stored according to the storage / bin systems that are in place. Participates in annual stock checks and prepares discrepancy reports to enable Warehouse Manager to take corrective action if required
